Oh boy, this wedding was an adventure thanks to Mother Nature! The day started off with super intense winds that continued all throughout Maddie and Shane’s Ogden temple wedding exit and family portraits. Right when it was time to start their husband and wife photos, hail and sleet got added to the mix, and then a blizzard snowstorm. We got some magical winter blizzard photos, but luckily the weather did cooperate for a quick 20 minutes without snow. It was freezing and Maddie was an absolute champ with handling the weather. Poor thing was freezing, but she still looked like a radiant bride!
Maddie MADE HER OWN DRESS!! Isn’t that incredible?! She started on the dress in October and finished it the day before their wedding. It was so beautiful and fit her perfectly!
Maddie and Shane are literally so cute together, and it just made me so happy to witness! Their vows to each other during their ring ceremony were so full of hope and sincerity. I know that they have a bright future together! Perhaps my favorite part of the day was seeing them dancing and singing to each other like they were the only two people in the world. It gave me a little glimpse into how sweet and fun their relationship is.
With the crazy weather, we did an impromptu bubble exit inside the church instead of sending everyone outside and it was a perfect ending to their day! Shane and Maddie, I am SO happy for you two! You clearly adore each other, and I wish you nothing but the best! Congratulations on your wedding, and enjoy sunny Arizona without all the snow 😉
