Ashley and Kevin had the best wedding last week! They were married at the Orem LDS Temple followed by a Walker Farms wedding reception. It was a beautiful, sunny day full to the brim with love and happiness! I love Ashley’s color palette of pink, orange, and cheery yellow! When you look at Ashley and Kevin, you can clearly see the joy and love radiating off of them. It’s a beautiful thing to witness and I’m so happy to have been able to capture their special day!

The Orem temple is such a pretty backdrop for photos, and we got so lucky to have the space to ourselves that morning. Ashley and Kevin’s families were so awesome, and we got through family photos lickety split! This is my second time working with Ashley’s family, as her sister Madi was my bride two years ago. Repeat clients and families are the best!

Walker Farms Wedding Reception

The Walker Farms wedding reception portion of the day was so fun! Ashley’s family worked together to create a beautiful balloon installation. The farmhouse tables were adorned with beautiful bud vases, and my favorite part – huge, beautiful prints of their formal session were displayed throughout the space! I always love seeing my work printed and displayed! That is the whole point of photos – to display them!

The happy newlyweds greeted their guests, cut the cake, and then it was time for first dances. Ashley and Kevin danced to Paramore’s song “The only Exception” and it was so sweet. They also surprised with crowd with a few fun dance moves thrown into the mix! Their DJ did a great job getting everyone on the dance floor, and I loved the crowd’s response to the party version of Taylor Swift’s song “Mine” – forever a Swiftie!

Ashley and Kevin served street style tacos with all the toppings, chips, salsa, and to top the night off with a theme – they had a piñata getaway car! Their wedding party had the brilliant idea to decorate their getaway car with crepe paper to make it look like a piñata, and it was SO COOL! I have never seen anything like it, and I can totally see this becoming the next trend.

I am so beyond happy for you two, Ashley and Kevin!! You are a wonderful couple, and it’s clear to see how much you care about each other! I wish you all the best in life, and can’t wait to see all your adventures together!
