I had so much fun photographing this Snow Basin engagement session! Kailey and Kyle traveled down from Idaho for our session, and it ended up being a total blizzard for the first half! The snow was coming down hard, but Kailey and Kyle just snuggled up and were all smiles. I love how the snowflakes falling look so romantic! Like it’s just Kailey and Kyle in their own little snow globe.

Kailey and Kyle first met on a dating app. If this is starting to sound like a familiar trend for my couples, it totally is! Dating apps work, they just take some time to find your right match! On their first date, it was instant attraction! They had fun playing real life fruit ninja and going to a trampoline park. Isn’t that such a fun first date? Being playful and having fun is so much better than awkwardly sitting through a dinner, in my opinion!

When it came time to planning their engagement session, Snow Basin ended up being the perfect location! Kailey and Kyle love being outdoors – hiking, fishing, you name it! There aren’t many pretty outdoor areas in February, but the pine trees always pull through and add color to the dreary landscape. When I asked what they want to remember most about their relationship right now, Kailey said how fun, goofy, and adventurous they are. And that totally comes through in their photos! They were making each other laugh, and being silly and playful the whole time! Not only that, but you can also see they have a deep bond and they gave me some seriously romantic smooches!
