From Ruby’s first email, she was so warm and bubbly sounding and I just knew we were going to get along great! She told me all about her and Evan, and they sounded like such a great couple! We were booked for a courthouse wedding + reception in September, and then plans changed! Evan decided to go all in on his business (check it out here), and it just made sense to get married now instead of in a few months. Within a week, they pulled together their outfits, rings, and flew in friends and family for their Salt Lake Courthouse elopement!

Before the ceremony we did a first look outside. It was very touching, and made me so happy for them! Marriage is a big commitment, but when it’s with the right person it’s also the easiest decision ever. Watching their first look made it so clear that Evan and Ruby have so much love for one another!

The ceremony was very sweet, and officiated by a nice woman that works at the County building. Ruby and Evan also had their good friend read a beautiful poem, which brought everyone to tears. The whole thing was simple and perfect for the happy couple! After the Salt Lake Courthouse elopement ceremony, we made a quick drive up to the canyon for some family and couple portraits.

Everyone was in the best mood, laughing, and joking. It was such a great atmosphere of love and support. Ruby and Evan make such a great couple, and it was so wonderful to see them soaking up the joy of their special day. I am SO happy for you two!! It was such a perfect day, and I cannot wait to celebrate with you again in September!!
