Breanna chose to do their engagements in downtown Salt Lake City, and it was the perfect backdrop!! We started the session off in a parking garage and photography their casual outfit up there. Next, we transitioned to some cute shops down on Main St. Something that stood out to me about these two, is that they are so kind and polite to each other! It’s so refreshing to see couples that have been together for years still maintain that niceness with each other. They were so willing to help each other out with outfit fixes and give one another cute compliments. I loved it! Keep that up, you two!!

I was honored to have the privilege of photographing the proposal for them, and it was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! Caden had a little scene set up with photos of them two of them. The photos were hanging from a tree, and showed off all the fun times they’ve had together. Among the scene was also a sign that said “It was always you”. Awww, right?! When the two of them walked up on the scene, Breanna was so dang excited! It makes me laugh remembering it. She was jumping up and down, and then she jumped and wrapped her legs around Caden while giving him a hug! Maybe she loves him just a little bit? Ha! From that moment, I knew these two were just perfect together, and I’m so happy I get to capture all the fun leading up to their wedding!

After shooting in Salt Lake City, I really wanted to shoot in the lilacs before they went away, so I convinced Breanna and Caden to go to one last location with me! We headed over to Memory Grove park, and the lilacs were just perfect! I love the little pop of color they add to the photos, and that they just perfectly accent the love between Breanna and Caden! We’re shooting their formals later this month, and I can’t wait! I know Breanna is going to be such a stunning bride, because the love for Caden just beams from her face!
