On 04.04.24 Sarah and Michael got married at the Orem LDS Temple! This was my first wedding at the newly opened temple, and it was fun to shoot somewhere new! The Orem LDS Temple is full of the prettiest details – I love all the flowers, quatrefoils, sacred geometry, and stained glass! As Sarah and Michael exited the temple, they were all smiles and full of excitement! I loved seeing all of the little girls run up to Sarah and give her hugs. Little girls are always the biggest fans of brides (aka princesses), and it’s so sweet!
It was a bright sunny day at the temple, which led to some funny faces, squinting, and laughter. Sarah’s bridesmaids all looked gorgeous in their green dresses, and were so helpful with fixing her hair and dress in the crazy wind. The groomsmen looked great in their black suits and matching ties. They nailed throwing Michael, and he looked calm as a cucumber up in the air. These two definitely have a great group of friends!
Orem LDS Temple Wedding & Glasshouse Venue Reception
Michael and Sarah’s reception was held at The Glasshouse Venue, and I really loved the vibe of this venue! It’s attached to a nursery, and has an industrial greenhouse vibe plus the light was great! There were three cute stations set up for guests – a soda bar, ice cream, and donuts! Yum! A favorite part of the night was all the first dances. Of course Sarah + Michael’s was so sweet! They sang to each other and laughed and just enjoyed the moment. It was also touching watching Michael and his mom dance. He comes from a family full of girls and only one boy, so it was the first time his mom had a parent dance.
The evening ended with a sparkler send off for the cute newlyweds! Congratulations Sarah and Michael! You two are so darling together, and I love how sweet your love is! I wish you the best, happiest future together!!
