On 08.18.18, up the beautiful Ogden Canyon, I shot Taylor Swift’s wedding!! I bet you weren’t expecting that sentence haha. If you know me, you know I’m a huge T-Swift fan! So when I found out my bride’s name was Taylor Swift, I definitely did a little happy dance. Not everyone can say they’ve shot Taylor Swift’s wedding 😉 As much fun as I’ve had saying that, Taylor couldn’t be happier to get rid of her famous name. When they were signing the marriage license, she had to sign her maiden name, and she excitedly said “Hopefully that’s the last time I ever have to be Taylor Swift!”.

Taylor & Kyle’s love story doesn’t follow the traditional norm. They met, fell in love, had two kids, and then had a wedding! It’s not traditional, but it is 100% perfect for them! Taylor and Kyle were married at the Northrop Grumman Conference Center. Talk about a picturesque location! Tall walls of the Ogden Canyon swoop up on either side of the venue, and a babbling river runs through the property. Taylor did an amazing job planning the wedding. It was packed full of details at every nook and cranny! From cute signs, to ceremony fans, a dessert table, yard games with sunscreen and bug spray, she literally thought of everything! One special detail that I really loved, was the heaven table! There was a really emotional moment where Kyle did a toast to his cousin who passed away, and everyone cheers’d to his memory.

This wedding was full of family and friends, and I loved that they all got down on the dance floor at the end of the night. It was wild, fun, and definitely entertaining! Taylor and Kyle, thank you so much for having me capture your special day! You two are a great couple, and your little family is just the cutest! Keep cherishing each other, and I know you’ll have a long happy life together!
