It was a beautiful sunshine filled July day when I arrived at the Mount Timpanogos temple for Breanna and Caden’s wedding. While waiting for them to make their grand exit, it began to sprinkle. The rain lasted less than 5 minutes, and I didn’t think much of it, because it was a welcome reprieve from the hot 98* weather! Breanna and Caden made their joyous exit from the temple, smiles ablaze and greeted all their guests. Love was flowing all around, and you could tell this marriage had a ton of support backing it!
When it came time for the family photos, we made our way around to the front of Mount Timpanogos temple, and I got into my typical family photo groove. We had just finished Breanna’s family when the skies opened up and it began to sprinkle. The sprinkle quickly turned into a complete downpour, and everyone ran for cover. Well, everyone except the groom and groomsmen! They quite enjoyed their time playing in the rain! Ten minutes later and it was back to super sunny and hot! That’s our crazy Utah weather for you! And also a caution to anyone getting married in July — it will likely rain! You don’t really think of July as a rainy month, but every wedding I’ve ever shot in July has had rain!
The fun continued later that evening at their reception, which was held at the Utah Valley Convention Center. This was a really fun and unique venue! I love that it had both an indoor/outdoor option, and the balcony over looking the valley was just breathtaking! Breanna and Caden had an outpouring of love from so many friends and family! They cut their cake, danced all the first dances, and enjoyed every second of their special day! Just before their sparkler exit, we were able to catch some beautiful sunset photos with the hazy red sun! How gorgeous is that view, am I right??
Breanna and Caden, thanks so much for the honor of capturing your big day! It has been a joy getting to know you two over our many photo sessions (Engagements) these past few months! You are both so kind and genuine, and I know your love for each other will last an eternity! Big congratulations on your wedding, and I hope you enjoy your upcoming cruise!!
