Manti LDS Temple Wedding, Provo Reception at Southworth Hall

Taya and Garrett were married at the Manti LDS Temple on Saturday! Woo hoo!! I always love when I get to photograph all the events leading up to a wedding, like engagements and formals, because it makes for such a great connection to my couples! They know what to expect from me when it comes to posing and directing, and I know what their personalities and best sides are, so everything runs smooth like butter! I’ve been counting down the days to this wedding, and it was so much fun!! I have never been to Manti before, and the drive down was beautiful! So fun to see a new part of the state!

With COVID restrictions at the Manti LDS Temple, Taya and Garrett only had their immediate family at the temple with them. It was a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, and it was clear that these two families were so happy to merge into one big family! The temple portion was quick and easy, as everyone was eager to get out of the crazy windstorm! I loved all the beautiful architecture at the Manti LDS temple, and it allowed for some fun pulled back shots of Taya and Garrett! Aren’t these two lovebirds adorable?!

Later that evening, the happy couple was able to celebrate with more extended family and friends at their reception. It was held at Southworth Hall in Provo, which has a fun industrial vibe to it! The color palette that Taya envisioned of fall colors was so beautiful! From florals to bridesmaids dresses, everything looked so fun and festive! Perhaps my favorite part of the evening was the cake smash – these two really went for it! I wouldn’t have expected anything less from these two silly pranksters!

Taya and Garrett – you are married! To think, it all started with Rootbeer! I have loved getting to know you two, and I know you have a happily ever after in your future! Wishing you all the best!!
