Kiersten and Mike are so dang cute together! I met them for the first time at their Jordan Pines fall engagement session, and right away I could tell how much they adore each other! The two of them were happy and giggly and it honestly was so fun to witness!! Sometimes clients are super nervous in front of the camera, and it takes them a minute to warm up and feel normal showing affection in front of a stranger – which is TOTALLY understandable! But Kiersten and Mike didn’t need any warming up! Mike was all over Kiersten from beginning to end haha.
We planned their Jordan Pines fall engagement session quite perfectly! It was warm and sunny, and the leaves were at peak autumnal beauty! I always have clients reaching out in the middle or beginning of October for fall photos in the mountains, and that is too late! You need to hit the mountains in late September to get the beautiful foliage colors! Keep that little nugget of wisdom in mind for next year haha.
I asked Kiersten and Mike about their first date, and if they hit it off right away. They responded with laughter and a pretty firm no. Mike took Kiersten to Texas Roadhouse (the rolls! yum!), and she ordered… wait for it… a salad! Apparently that is a big no no at a steakhouse haha. Despite a rocky start with the first date, they kept pursuing each other, learning more about one another, and they realized they had met their match! I’m glad they kept at it! These two are as cute as cute can be, and I’m so excited for their wedding!
