Katie + Christian had a beautiful wedding last week! They were sealed at the Bountiful temple, and then had a lovely, intimate greenhouse wedding reception at Le Jardin. Their spring wedding was not exactly springy, as Utah got hit with a big snow storm the day before their wedding. The sun still came out, and we made the best of all the snow at the Bountiful temple + the greenhouse vibes brought in some much needed life to their photos!
When I took Katie and Christian’s engagements last fall, Katie told me that she was wearing her mom’s original wedding dress. Katie reworked the top of the dress a little bit (bye bye big poofy 80’s/90’s sleeves), but the lower part of the dress, the lace, and the train are all original. Katie is the first bride I’ve had that has worn their mom’s dress, and I think that is just so special and such a fun idea! She looked so gorgeous!
One of my favorite parts of the evening greenhouse wedding reception was when Katie and Christian exchanged vows infront of all their guests. Vows aren’t super traditional with LDS temple weddings, but I LOVE vows, and so this was beautiful to witness! Their vows to each other were sweet and loving, and it really showed just how much they care for each other!
It was such a fun day celebrating these two, and I wish nothing but the best for them! Congrats Katie and Christian!
