Showing up to the Draper LDS Temple on 08.18.18, I was greeted with crowds everywhere! These two beautiful people were married on the most happening day of the year! The date was so coveted, that I was actually able to shoot two weddings in one day! Temple coverage in the morning, and a traditional ceremony in the evening! Everyone had to get in that special anniversary date haha. I was able to chat with Ethan before Kelsey finished changing, and you could just feel the energy and excitement from him! He was so happy to be married to Kelsey! Their friends and family surrounded them when they made their grand exit out of the temple, and these two had so much support coming their way! Ethan surprised Kelsey with a band to her engagement ring right after they exited, and it was so beautiful!

The couple’s family and friends were so gracious to deal with the harsh lighting we were subjected to thanks to the crazy crowds at the temple. Luckily the temple cleared out bit when it was time to do the couple’s formal photos! I absolutely loved the cornflower blue accent color Kelsey chose for the bridal party – such a flattering color on everyone! And the floral ties for the groomsmen were so perfect! They had a lively bridal party, and it was so fun shooting the photos with all of them!

Kelsey and Ethan were amazing to witness together — they treat each other with such kindness and respect. They laugh easily together, and they never stop smiling! These two have some tough long-distance challenges ahead of them with Ethan’s deployment/training coming up, and then Kelsey’s absence for nursing school. I have no doubt that they’ll be able to keep the flame alive and make the time pass quickly! Their love is special, and it’s easy to see that! I had so much fun getting to know these two better, and to be able to witness their love. Kelsey and Ethan, thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day! It was a blast! I hope the honeymoon has been amazing!!
