It’s about dang time I share these two cuties engagement session!! Wedding season has been keeping me busy (yay! so thankful!), but that means I haven’t had as much time to blog! I first met Madison and Cooper a little over a year ago now, when they modeled for my promo video. You can check that out on my home page (desktop) or click here for mobile. I had so much fun with the two of them, and have been following along with their love story ever since. Madison and Cooper got engaged a few months ago, and I was so so happy when they asked me to be their wedding photographer!
When I was discussing location ideas with Madison, she really wanted a city type look and sent me over inspiration photos that looked pretty similar to New York and had an upscale industrial look to them. This was a new request for me, so I set out location scouting, and we ended up with two locations. The first set of photos we took at Trolley Square in downtown Salt Lake City. This location was so fun, with lots of brick and fun architectural details like arches, gates, and fountains! Madison and Cooper looked SO GOOD in their dressed up outfits! I loved how her navy blue contrasted so nice against the red brick. And boy did they work it in front of the camera! They were so dang cute laughing and being playful, but then they also whipped out the serious smize and model faces with ease!
The second location we moved to is just a few blocks away, and it was so fun to shoot! There were so many different backgrounds that looked so rad, from the ivy to the teal doors to the archways. It was so fun to get creative and shoot in a new spot! And again, Madison and Cooper’s outfits slayed!! These two definitely have style, and it shows! Also, I recently shot their formal session (which I can’t share until their wedding next month!), and holy cow!!! Just wait till you see those photos 😉
