Courtney and Devin's Beautiful 7F Lodge Wedding in Texas

Courtney and Devin’s 7F Lodge Wedding in College Station, TX was the perfect celebration of their love! The happy couple’s love story starts back in high school, where the two of them were just friends. As the years passed, they each went their separate way, but eventually life brought them back together. And this time? It is for forever. Courtney and Devin have made a beautiful life together, both working high intensity jobs that let their service oriented hearts of gold shine. They adopted their sweet pup Charlie, and the last step was making everything official at their beautiful 7F Lodge wedding!

Courtney has an incredible eye for detail, and everything was absolute perfection. From all the greenery at the front of the chapel, to the self-grown and propagated plants as wedding favors, it all came together beautifully! The moment I first saw a photo of Courtney, my immediate thought was “She’s a real life Disney princess!” and after meeting her, I can confirm that it is 100% true.

Courtney has the most amazing hair, and the happiest and kindest disposition. When she was all ready and in her dress, Courtney just glowed! At Devin and Courtney’s first look, he kept saying that she is a perfect 10. Devin looked sharp in his black suit too! Following their adorable first look, the two of them chose to privately read their vows to each other. They have so much love and adoration for each other, and it is beautiful to witness.

As the day went on, a few rainstorms showed up and the ceremony plans had to take a little detour. Courtney and Devin said “I do” and pledged forever surrounded by their closest family members inside of the chapel while the rest of their guests watched from the venue’s covered porch. Their wedding had a romantic, rustic feel with pale pink and light blue colors, thrifted vintage decor centerpieces, and lots of greenery that all added to the whimsical atmosphere. Although the weather didn’t cooperate for the wedding ceremony, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the newlyweds or their guests.

The rest of the evening was bursting with so much love and support for the happy couple, with touching speeches from Courtney’s father, her sister and maid of honor Caitlin, and Devin’s brother and best man Chase. I know it’ll be a day that Courtney and Devin look back on fondly with happy memories. I am always immensely honored and appreciative of every couple who hires me to photograph their wedding, but when a couple loves my work enough to fly me out to their wedding – it is just extra special! Courtney and Devin, thank you so much for all the trust and love you’ve given me!
