Red Butte Wedding in the Rose Garden

I love you more than pi. That is how Gary opened up his vows to Tina during their Red Butte Garden wedding celebration. And seeing it spelled out there, you can see that Gary doesn’t mean the food pie, but the number pi. The number that never ends. Gary’s love for Tina is more than pi. It is unending. Forever. And with just those few words, you get a glimpse into the amazing love that these two have for each other.

Some people you meet in life, and you just know you’ll remember them and your interaction forever. This is how I feel about Tina and Gary. They are some of the kindest, most genuine humans I have ever met. I have been lucky enough to document their engagement and formal photos leading up to their Red Butte Garden wedding, and both times I have been struck by just how amazing they are. Tina and Gary’s energy is warm and all encompassing. It has been a pleasure to know them, and to photograph this special time.

Their wedding celebration was just as lovely as they are! Since they already had a small wedding last year, their Red Butte Garden wedding ceremony was more customized to them and their current relationship. They walked each other down the aisle, with the biggest, happiest smiles ever. Gary opened the ceremony with a meditation, since it was significant to the beginning of his and Tina’s relationship. Instead of simply exchanging rings, they had a ring warming ceremony where their wedding party and immediate family all put a blessing onto their rings. They incorporated all these special touches into their day, and I loved every second of it!

Beyond their touching ceremony, I loved their all vegan menu (delicious!), the epic dance party with glow sticks, and the touching speeches! I really loved Gary’s mom’s speech. She said that the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. And that they were so appreciative of every single person that was there, spending the evening with them, and giving their time to celebrate Tina and Gary. That really rang true for me – time together with the people you love and care about is just the best!

All in all, it was the most beautiful celebration for Tina and Gary! You two deserve to be surrounded by all the love! I am so honored to have captured your special day, and wish you both all the best!
