All things pink, girly, and love related are my jam! As a Utah wedding photographer with “heart” literally in my last name, I couldn’t love Valentine’s day more! I had an idea to do a really cute, pink valentines themed shoot, and Natalie and Hunter were the perfect duo to make my dreams come true! I wanted the shoot to be really fun, vibrant, and a different vibe than what I normally shoot! Most of my sessions take place outdoors in natural light, but I wanted to shoot with pink walls for this session. Enter, a studio! I booked a studio that was doing a super cute set up for valentines day with balloons and rose petals, so it was perfect!

I’m not normally a huge prop person, as I like to let my couple’s be the star of the photos! However for a valentines shoot, I wanted to get all the traditional “gift” items and have Natalie and Hunter interact with them! Eclairs, chocolates, and candy hearts – yummy and fun! Natalie and Hunter helped me search through the candy hearts to find two of them that said something good – we ended up with “Ooh La La” and “You + Me”. I guess candies made for kids don’t have the most romantic sayings on them haha!

I also loved the rose wall – it felt very “Bachelor”! Natalie and Hunter were awesome at throwing those rose petals and creating a picture perfect romantic scene!
