Ah, Sydney is married!!! Sydney & Chance’s burgundy and rose gold backyard wedding was full of love and so many pretty details! All of my couples are so so special to me, and I’m always thrilled for them when it is their wedding day. But it just hits a little different when the person getting married is someone you’ve known for 10+ years! Sydney was on the high school drill team with me (Go Lakettes!), and we became such good friends. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding, and now 10 years later, I had the honor of photographing her wedding!!

When I took Sydney and Chance’s engagements a few months ago, it was my first time meeting Chance. Getting to see the two of them interact with each other – oh my gosh – it was wonderful! These two adore each other and get a long SO well! It’s crazy how you can just tell when two people fit together and it all makes sense! Sydney was the most beautiful bride! Her dress was so dang pretty – it was adorned with lace and the tulle skirt was glittery! When she walked in the sunlight, it shimmered all over!

Their burgundy and rose gold backyard wedding was a melding of their two families. Sydney’s son and Chance’s 3 kids all came together to form one big happy family! Not only that, but the Galbraith side and the Conger side were all talking and mingling with each other and it was so wonderful to see. There is so much love within this group, and it was a joy to capture! Sydney and Chance are so freaking cute together, I can’t even stand it! Thanks you two, for having my document your special day! It was beautiful from beginning to end, and I can’t wait to see the life you two create together!
