Alexa and Hunter were married at the Ogden Temple, and it was such a beautiful day! These two lovebirds walked out of the temple just beaming! They were are all smiles, and you could tell that they were just thrilled to be husband and wife! It was so fun to see them greet their family and friends, and see how excited everyone was for them. I always love portrait time with just the bride and groom. I get to see them relax and let loose and soak in the happiness of their special day.

After the Ogden Temple, it was time for the reception, which was held at The Rock Loft in Fruit Heights, and it was so pretty! They put so much time and effort into all the little details, and it totally paid off! Such a gorgeous reception space! Alexa and Hunter had the biggest reception turn out that I’ve seen in a while! There was a non-stop flow of people coming to greet and congratulate them. And I’m not surprised! After interacting with them + their families for the short time that I did, it’s easy to see why! Their families are so kind and welcoming, and make you feel instantly connected to them!

When it came time to the typical wedding festivities, Alexa and Hunter really went for the cake smash! It’s always so funny to see what couples do during that time – and these two didn’t hold back! But perhaps the most touching moment of the evening was the father/daughter dance. Both Alexa and her dad were very emotional and tearing up. Seeing their bond was so sweet!

Another fun moment of their reception came at the end when all the Uncles on Alexa’s side dressed up in old band uniforms from BYU. They rolled up in a short school bus, and paraded around the reception area! It was so funny, and so memorable! Apparently this is a common theme with their family parties, and I think it’s a blast! We ended the night with a sparkler exit, and sent the bride and groom off on their honeymoon! Alexa and Hunter, I loved meeting you two and capturing your wedding day! I wish you nothing but marital bliss!!
