On a bright sunshine filled day, Kyle and Kailey were married. It was an unseasonably warm April day in the mountains for their Jordan Pines elopement! All around us the snow was melting, and love was in the air. It was a simple and beautiful ceremony, with only their parents and daughter in attendance. Kyle’s sweet daughter was so excited to see Kailey after she walked down the aisle, that Elena ran right over and gave Kailey a big hug. It was so so touching to witness their bond!
At the end of the ceremony, Kyle and Kailey exchanged rings, but there was one more ring exchange to happen! Sweet Elena walked over in her adorable dress, and handed a ring to Kailey. It was a “mommy” ring and my heart melted into a big puddle! I’ll never get over how special it is to witness a wedding ceremony, and the joining of two families! I am forever obsessed and feel so lucky to call this my job!
After the ceremony, we did family pictures, and then ran off to the woods to capture the new husband and wife! The mountains were showing off for this Jordan Pines elopement – perfectly snowy and majestic! Because Kailey and Kyle wanted an afternoon ceremony, the snow was so so bright reflecting back in their eyes. I had to have them close their eyes and count down “3, 2, 1 open!” so that they could look at me without squinting so much haha. It’s always an adventure on location!
To finish off their elopement, we made our way back down Big Cottonwood canyon, and took some final gorgeous images atop a rocky mountain! I love when my couples are adventurous and willing to go the extra mile for some amazing photos! Kailey and Kyle, you two are so dang cute together! I love watching you have fun and joke around, and I also love seeing what great parents you are to little Elena! I can’t wait for part two of this amazing celebration in May!
