Full of laughs, giggles, smiles and love – that is Taya and Garrett’s relationship! When I met these two at Silver Lake for their engagement session, I could tell right off the bat that we’d have a fun time shooting! As I do with all my clients, I ask them if they have a side they prefer to be photographed at and usually phrase it like “Do you have a side you prefer? What is your best side?” and Garrett – that jokester – turned around and said his backside was his best side. HA!

It was such a beautiful day in our Utah Mountains when we took these. You can’t ask for much better scenery – beautiful mountains, lush greenery, and a cute head over heels in love couple! Silver Lake sure showed off for these engagement pictures! It was such a great location choice for Taya and Garret, because they LOVE being outside and exploring! One of their favorite dates is to go up the canyon, hang out in their hammock, and roast hotdogs together.

These engagement pictures describe their relationship so perfect – fun, adventurous, and outdoorsy. It was so fun shooting these, and I can’t wait to meet up with Taya and Garret for their formal session + wedding in November! I can’t believe how soon it’ll be here!
