It was so fun to photograph Iqra and Mudsar’s South Asian Utah wedding event! Iqra and Mudsar are actually already married, but due to the pandemic they weren’t ever able to fully celebrate with their Utah friends and family. I was so happy that they asked me to document this for them!

We started out by doing some couple’s portraits at Thanksgiving Point! It was a beautiful, super hot day, and we even made some friends along the way 😉 haha. When there are giant dinosaurs, you have to stop and take some photos with them. Iqra looked radiant, and she was told every 5 seconds by passing guests how beautiful she looked. Her pretty pink color scheme was carried through in her makeup with gorgeous sparkly eyeshadow and highlight! I am obsessed with all the unique aspects of her attire, and was soaking in all the details!

The rest of the evening was spent celebrating at a clubhouse with a beautiful view of Utah lake. BJ Biks did a great job emceeing the evening! There were wonderful speeches, a fun entrance for Iqra and Mudsar, and oodles of family portraits with the happy couple! I loved looking at everyone’s outfits – so intricate, colorful, and full of incredible detailing. The Pakistani food was delicious, and it was so fun to experience a South Asian Utah wedding celebration of marriage! One thing that transcends cultures? Taylor Swift! Haha, I bet you didn’t think I’d say that. Iqra and I bonded over TS on our initial consultation call, and she had a fun to request to end the evening. The DJ played “Love Story” and Iqra sang her heart out while surrounded by friends and family. It was so fun!!

Mudsar and Iqra, I am so happy for you two! I love any chance to celebrate love, and I’m so glad we got to meet and celebrate your marriage again! It’s clear how much you two value and cherish your relationship, and I wish you both all the best!!
